“Spiralo” is a virtual cultural complex produced by the noise-classical music project 'Tia Rungray'. The space includes a sound installation hall, a gallery, a café, and a shopping floor. The name "Spiralo" means "spiral" in Esperanto, and the name comes from the fact that the floors are arranged in a spiral pattern, inspired by the image of everyday life and art blending together in virtual life. The idea is to make it easier to enjoy high-quality art activities in Second Life and to make visitors more aware of their close relationship to life. It functions to make everyday activities such as watching, listening, dressing, talking and photography more artistic. It offers you a way to enjoy the time and space in which you can relax in everyday life. As a cultural hub for contemporary art in Second Life, “Spiralo” hopes to continue to create a cultural scene.

Established in 2013, Visionaire Institute is the brainchild of WrenNoir Cerise and Nariko Okawa. Students of the Visionaire Institute enjoy an intimate, collaborative classroom where they can learn the technical aspects needed to best express their creative vision. It aims to teach students how to ‘see’ what works and doesn’t work in an image. The lessons are intense and make students fully flesh out who they are as photographers. Everyone has a skill in something and at Visionaire Institute they help you find it, refine it, augment it, and use it to the utmost.

Walls lead nowhere. Walls is an art installation by Bamboo Barnes to convey their current state of mind. The walls in our mind and the walls that exist in the world in which we exist give us many thoughts and conflicts. It has elements that are considered heavy, but show a balance with what is still there, not to be self-deprecating. In this sense, "Walls" has a strong personal attachment to the artist.

Welcome to Miralume, a region-wide art exhibit by Scarlet Fey, Delain Canucci and Gem Preiz on the Akimitsu region. The exhibit takes full advantage of the new PBR textures, reflections, and mirrors to create a fantastic and magical experience. The latest addition to The Borderless Project: Miralume derives its name and inspiration from the 2024 Fantasy Faire region by Scarlet Fey. You will need a PBR enabled viewer.

Mandel Solano Workshop is a dynamic creation space where Mandel Solano crafts various items, exploring the potential of this virtual world. Visitors are encouraged to use teleport points to access different levels within the workshop. For optimal viewing of the intricate lighting, guests should adjust their settings to Midnight. This ever-evolving workshop offers a glimpse into the creativity and technical skill of its maker.


Welcome to Kerupa’s World at Akimori, an extraordinary region-wide art installation by the visionary 3D artist Kerupa Flow. Every month you will find new artwork starting on the first Saturday of each month when famed pianist Rulie Cisse joins Kerupa for a new concert of music and lights. Currently on display is: “Invisible“ an interactive exposition on the aftermath of the 2011 earthquake and Tsunami.


Explore "Abstracts & Artifacts" by Lee Boot, a virtual art exhibition at The Peale in Second Life. Lee Boot spent 25 years merging artistic thought with scientific research to address societal challenges, emphasizing the unique perspectives artists offer. He believes in artists' potential not just for their creations, but for their mindset, asserting that our biggest hurdles stem from a lack of imagination and cultural understanding.

NUNA is an arts ecosystem, a region of themed galleries with experimental works by living artists, real world and virtual, and a collection of culturally significant pieces. NUNA has an education focus. Artworks on display are captioned and contextualised; the goal is to display art in context so that it can be better understood.

The Hexagons is a place dedicated to those who produce and play their own music, a catalogue of musicians who produce or have produced their own music in Second Life. The Hexagons also has a stage on the roof where occasionally events can be organised. If you are a composer, do not hesitate to contact Livio Korobase to be added to the exhibition.


The Free Museum contains over 70 works by some of the best artists in Second Life, and visitors are invited to take a free copy of every work exhibited. There is nothing for sale or any solicitations. And it is newcomer friendly: there are simple instructions on how to take a work home and how to resize it to fit your home. It is a great introduction to the art world of Second Life.

The Borderless Project is a region-wide, multi-level, interactive digital art exhibition at Akimitsu, in which they play with light: reflections, structures, movement, creation, and evolution. "Daffodils" marks the beginning of Sheldon Bergman’s "Visual Poetry" grant at SLEA, bringing his exploration of poetry into the immersive world of Second Life. Based on William Wordsworth’s "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud", the experience transforms the poet’s celebrated encounter with nature into a virtual setting where narration, music, and environment bring his words to life.

Sassy Art Gallery is a Mediterranean-inspired outdoor gallery where local artists showcase their work in a scenic setting of marble walkways, arches, waterfalls, and ocean views. Connected to a café, it offers a relaxing place to enjoy art, gather with friends, and find inspiration.


Mosaic is a walk-through world inspired by the art of Moebius: vast desert, silent monoliths, and creatures from elsewhere. Visitors build the art themselves - step on a tile, and it flies to the center, forming a 3D mosaic never the same twice. There are also rides to try: winged skimmers that fly over the whole scene.
