At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea, and discuss death. Their objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives. A Death Cafe is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a discussion group, not a grief support or counseling session. Facilitated by Cattie Rosca, there are events every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 2pm SLT at the Death Cafe in Whole Brain Health's Life and Memory Garden.
The Lighthouse is a support group and meeting place, focused on mental health and wellness. They provide support group meetings on topics including depression, anxiety, and addiction, as well as social activities and meditation sessions. They are a laid-back peer support community where you can connect with like-minded people.

The Disability Mystics Nexus is a diverse and supportive collective of individuals who identify with the disabled community and share a common interest in exploring mysticism, spirituality, and personal growth. Inworld, it is a cozy den with space to chat, study, meet with mentors and/or clients. They host movie nights, discussions, and workshops. They also have a discord for connection.
The seaside village of Little Coverston was a thriving fishing village where the sounds of sea birds and fishermen echoed. Yet, the dedicated folks were unable to keep up with demand. Thankfully, local volunteers brought new life to Little Coverston.

Fearless Nation PTSD Support is an RL 501c3 Nonprofit Organization for people with PTSD, their families, partners, children, and communities. They provide education, support, and advocacy. Since 2009 they've had a virtual online community that spans distance, with a small carbon footprint bringing people together for peer support, education, and advocacy for people with PTSD.
Echo Group Band of Brothers is a real-life Veteran's non-profit with a chapter in Second Life. They provide assistance with anything a Veteran or their family members may need including VA, claims, DIC, etc. There are 2 regions and a Gateway for new residents to learn SL!
