Return to the Light

Return to the Light is a Japanese-inspired winter solstice quest at The Naughty Panda, rooted in seasonal folklore and quiet ritual. Centered on the winter solstice, on December 22, visitors carry lanterns on a winter mountain walk, following a winding path through snow, stone, and water, guided by small guardians and a wandering kite. Along the way, guests solve gentle challenges and uncover the story of the solstice before receiving a special gift at the journey’s end. Afterward, visitors are invited to relax in warm yuzu-infused hot springs and enjoy a shared feast in a peaceful courtyard setting, open through January 4th. A calm, immersive experience celebrating warmth, renewal, and the return of light.
